Residency at Mission Clay Products
In 2014, Mission Clay Products (MCP) invited Lauren to work in collaboration at the factory which produces the largest ceramic pipes in the world. The engineering and construction industry uses the mammoth pipes as water line, but Lauren took the opportunity to paint them, transforming the product into giant ceramic paintings. She returned in 2015 to finish more pieces and exhibited several of the works at Belger Crane Yard Gallery in Kansas City, MO.
With the generous support of MCP and Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, she will return to Phoenix again to create more large scale pieces in the future. Please inquire more about the pieces through the contact link.
